Free GitHub developer pack for students

The Student Developer Pack program starts from October 2014, and it aims at giving students free access to the best developer tools in one place so they can learn by doing. Now there are 15 different technology companies in the partnership.

How to get it?

  1. Prepare your school-issued email address, and valid student identification card or other official proof of enrollment before you start. Because the pack is available to students aged 13+ and enrolled in a degree or diploma granting course of study.
  2. Go to Student Developer Pack page, and click “Get your pack”.
  3. Login to your GitHub account. (Create a new account if you don’t have one)
  4. Fill out the form and upload your student materials.
  5. Submit your request and after that you will get the approval email.
